Monitoring and measuring the performance of digital tools is a crucial component of any business or organization. Visit Widget has always included powerful integrations with Google Analytics, Google Firebase, and App Figures to provide clients insights on the usage and installs of their web-widget and apps. However, accessing 3 different systems to analyze the data was a pain, so we decided to build a centralized solution for mobile app analytics and widget usage.
The Visit Widget Analytics Dashboard is a web-based interface, accessible in admin mode from within each clients’ widget, that synchronizes nightly with each analytics platform to provide a single point of access for all your analytics. The system also generates an email report which is delivered to any admins configured for each client instance that provides a snapshot of the last week’s performance & usage compared to that of the previous week.
- Analytics are synchronized each morning at 7 AM CT for the previous day’s metrics.
- Google Play app install metrics are typically not available for import from App Figures for the previous 1 – 2 days.
- Google Firebase reported metrics may show a slight variance from Visit Widget’s Analytics Dashboard metrics due to different calculation methods. The VW Analytics Dashboard metric calculations use less tolerance on user session information to provide the maximum level of accuracy possible.
- Google Firebase & Google Analytics reporting started on July 1st 2018 for most clients.
