Looking forward to hearing from you All!

I was directed here by a message on the face of my new widget. Something about a short code that will by-pass the need to paste the HTML code to each page that I want to monitor.
And, also, the widget sometimes has 7 or 8 pages listed under "Most Popular" (which indicates something "is" working in a general fashion) and sometimes nothing is listed. The visitor count is there sometimes and other times - it is not. I'm aware of the need for 1 hour of elapsed time recommended on the widget.
Would you please respond with a general outline of what is needed after installing this widget : (1) do I need to paste code on my blog "postings" that I want to monitor, or (2) is there a "fix" to monitor and count "all" the pages on my blog site? and, finally (3) what's up with the visitor counts? when they do appear the count is way too high. I have a second small counter that seems about right.
Thanks in advance - Dave
P.S. The green background is kinda ugly.

Hi David
Thanks for signing up to the forum. In answer to your questions,
1) If you only want selected blog pages or posts to be monitored, then you would add the javascript code snippet to those pages.
2) If you want to monitor all your blog pages, then you would paste the code snippet into a common file such as the common header, footer, left or right bar. If you don't want the widget to be visible on some pages, then set the display mode to OFF by adjusting the code as follows
var myrtw_display = "OFF";
What many of our other users do is place the visible widget code on the first page of their blog or site and place the widget code with display set to OFF in the footer section of their site.
3) From the sound of it, a lot of your issues with our widget may be corrected if you get the widget code directly from our site. Sometimes if you get the code from a widget distribution site like WidgetBox or Google Gadets, or from another site that got it from those locations, the code is sligthly altered and the data you see might be the data of those distributions sites instead.
I hope this helps.
BTW, the background will be more customizable in the future, but until then bear with us.
